Integrate SimaPro with
other software
Link SimaPro with other software with the new COM interface. This opens the possibility to use LCA results in other tools using SimaPro as powerful "engine". The COM interface will be available in the SimaPro Developer version.
What can you do with this new feature:
 | Your CAD application sends a command
to SimaPro to calculate the energy use score for part x. SimaPro will
perform this calculation and the results are shown as if it was an
integrated part of the CAD system. |
| Your enterprise resource planning
system (ERP) or accounting system provides a monthly update of all
material, energy and transport flows in a department and an LCA
profile can be automatically generated. |
The
results can be disseminated throughout your intranet or internet sites
using the multi user version1.
An important feature is that, while SimaPro is available as multi user
version, an LCA expert can simultaneously work to update the database,
while the system is running.
