| The SimaPro
Service Contract ensures you of regular database and software
updates. Your questions will be answered by the SimaPro
helpdesk. Further, you can join the SimaPro
Internet User Group.
A service contract is always included in temporary licenses. Indefinite licenses come with a free first year service contract. Service contractDatabase updates Our database updates save you time. You will regularly receive new inventory data and impact assessment methods, so you don't have to collect and enter all data yourself. Remember that collecting data is the most costly in any LCA study! Certain databases updates may be excluded from the service contract, for example the ecoinvent database. Software updates Make sure you work with the latest version and the newest features. Not only patches, upgrades to newer versions of SimaPro (such as SimaPro 6) are included in the service contract at no extra costs. SimaPro HelpdeskThe SimaPro helpdesk will answer your questions about SimaPro as quickly as possible. The helpdesk can be contacted by phone, fax, or e-mail. SimaPro comes with extensive on-line help and a range of manuals, that help you finding the first answers to your questions. SimaPro User GroupThe SimaPro Internet User Group is an e-mail discussion list where registered SimaPro users post questions and share information on LCA data sources, discuss methodology, etcetera. Your contributions are directly e-mailed to all other members of the group, and you automatically receive each contribution of the other members. Additionally, you can join the LCA discussion list. This list is open for everyone interested in Life Cycle Assessment issues. Service Contract PricingFor an overview of the service contract prices, please click here. You can order 2 or 3 years of service contract in advance at an attractive discount. A service contract is always included in temporary licenses and does not need to be ordered separately. Service Contract OrderingA few months before your service contract expires, Life Cycle Strategies will contact you to discuss prolongation. Prolongation of a service contract is optional and non automatic. After receipt of your Service Contract renewal order form, you will receive an
invoice. New registration codes will be sent to you after receipt of
your payment. Other SupportOutside the support given through the SimaPro service contract, PRé can organize (in house) trainings or reviews of your LCA study.
